General
The battery testing and charging devices of the EUROCHARGE series from ELMAG offer everything that a demanding user expects from a charger. The integrated battery charge status indicator using LEDs (with EUROCHARGE 60 using a voltmeter) always informs about the current charge state of the connected battery as well as the charging progress. The risk of reversing polarity and thus damaging the vehicle battery is eliminated. Both models feature reverse polarity protection, which only releases the charging voltage when the battery is correctly connected. In case of incorrect connection, the reverse polarity protection is triggered immediately. Additionally, the EUROCHARGE 120 Automatic emits an audible warning.

GEL Batteries
GEL batteries are lead-acid batteries where the electrolyte is either gelled or contained in a microglass fleece (AGM). These batteries are sealed and equipped with safety valves. The advantage of this battery technology is leak-proofness and good cycle characteristics. They are increasingly found in the passenger car sector as well. Special chargers must be used for charging.

EUROCHARGE 120 Automatic - with Floating Process
In these models, the charging process is fully automatic. After the charging is complete, the device automatically switches to the Floating Process, allowing it to continue operating in maintenance charging mode and remain there. 365 days a year - 24 hours - optimal for vehicle winter storage, classic cars, etc.
