The water socket is installed underground and supplied with water through Gardena laying pipes. Once you connect a garden hose to the water connection with an automatic stop valve, you can start watering. When the hose is removed, the water stops automatically. When the water socket is not in use, a cover protects it from dirt. This ball cover disappears inside the water socket when opened, making it no obstacle while mowing the lawn. A removable sieve prevents dirt from entering the socket when the cover is open. The Gardena water socket has a ¾” external thread.
