Flexible base for rounded and angled surfaces. FMBAPT bases are supplied with a 100% closed-cell acrylic adhesive tape, providing greater design freedom, weight reduction, and process cost optimization. The adhesive has high tensile and shear strength and offers an innovative fastening solution for low-energy surfaces. It features a protective film with an overhang for easy removal and is temperature resistant up to +105 °C. The cable tie can be looped in from four sides, allowing for quick, easy, and flexible mounting. FMB4APT-I can also be used for high-energy surfaces such as metal or glass. FlexTack bases are an innovative mounting solution especially for curved and angled surfaces. The acrylic adhesive used is suitable for both high and low energy surfaces. These flexible adhesive bases provide an alternative wherever screw fasteners are not possible and can be used for a wide range of applications, including powder-coated or painted surfaces, metal surfaces, and plastic trim in diverse applications such as electrical cabinets, rail vehicles, aircraft, vehicles, and agricultural machinery construction.
