The unit has a built-in flashlight that illuminates during clamp operation and an automatic non-contact voltage detection feature for identifying live wires. The DPM 1000 can be used for data logging in its internal non-volatile memory. You can record up to 9999 measurements/records in memory over a specified period and download the data to create charts and reports. The recording rate can be set from 1 second to 600 seconds.
