Innovative solution for intelligent hand soldering and solder fume extraction. ERSA has developed the i-CON 2V MK2, a combined soldering station that meets the demands of higher working temperatures and increasingly smaller process windows of lead-free soldering processes. The integrated interface switches off the optional ERSA fume extraction units 3 seconds after the i-tool enters standby mode. Additionally, you can connect and control a heating plate using the interface. The electronic station features a second connection for another i-tool or alternatively for tools used for desoldering SMD components or wired components. The i-CON series is, of course, antistatic. A firmware update can be performed via the micro-SD card slot.

• Three energy power levels are available, regulating the heating element based on the required heat demand. At the highest setting, the system delivers maximum power of 150 W. In the low power setting, the output is strictly controlled, preventing any temperature overshoot.
• Process window and alarm visually and audibly inform the operator if the temperature exceeds the selected temperature process window.
• With the i-Set Tool Vario option, additional i-CON soldering stations can be automatically configured and locked. Station settings can be easily and quickly downloaded from one i-CON to the i-Set Tool like with a USB stick and uploaded to another station within 5 seconds.
