Cleaning and Maintenance:
Annual maintenance is limited to checking the filter media and the UVC lamp. The UVC lamp should be replaced after 6000–8000 operating hours. The optimal time for replacement is at the beginning of the pond season in spring. The cleaning of the filter sponges can be done through a manual backwash. Simply swap the inlet and outlet. The water needed for backwashing can be used, for example, for garden irrigation.

Installation of the pressure pond filter:
The pressure pond filter is set up at the pond's edge and connected to a suitable pond pump (not included, please note the maximum volume capacity of the pond pump). The water is directed through the pond filter past the integrated UV pond clarifier and returned to the pond after being cleaned. UVC pond clarifiers significantly enhance the effectiveness of the pond filter. Pond clarifiers irradiate the flowing pond water with UV-C radiation. UVC pond clarifiers alter the tertiary and quaternary structures of algae proteins through their UV radiation. This leads to the destruction of the algae. The algae clump into larger particles and can be easily removed from the water cycle through mechanical pond filtration in the pond filter.
