High-Performance Pond Pump

New generation of pond pumps with a high water flow rate.

You will receive a pond filter pump / stream pump with a pumping capacity of 4000 l/h at 65 watts.

The pumping capacity of the pond pump must be precisely matched to the size of the pond filter. An excessively high pumping capacity can lead to overflow of the pond filter, which should be avoided. The circulation cycle of the pond and the retention time of the pond water in the filter should also be considered.

Depending on the intended use, the optimal circulation cycle depends on various factors: fish stock, aquatic plants, sunlight exposure, and desired water clarity. Additional components of the filtration system may also need to be coordinated as necessary.

The following guidelines apply:
Koi pond / fish pond:
• 1 cycle every 3 hours
• 2 circulations per hour (without planting and with a high fish stock)

Garden pond / plant pond:
In a pond without fish stock, less circulation is necessary. Here, a daily circulation can be used as a guideline to enrich the pond water with oxygen and keep the water in motion.

Swimming pond:
The circulation cycle here is highly dependent on planting and personal expectations. The upper limit is 1 time every 2–3 hours, while the lower limit is "no circulation."

Maintenance:
To ensure the proper functioning of the pond pumps, it is necessary to clean them regularly.
