Use of an Inverter
The inverter is used where direct current needs to be converted into alternating current. The alternating current from the power output operates devices that can otherwise only be powered through a 230V household connection. The Swaytronic inverter with RCD fulfills this task and allows for the conversion of DC voltage (battery) to AC voltage. All our inverters feature a pure sine wave, ensuring the operation of all 230V AC consumers.

Integrated Residual Current Circuit Breaker
The Swaytronic inverters with RCD come with an integrated residual current circuit breaker. This eliminates the need for retrofitting a residual current circuit breaker during inverter operation. The residual current circuit breaker plays an important safety role during operation. The main function of an RCD is to protect individuals from dangerous electrical currents. The RCD detects both large fault currents and the smallest current differences caused by minor insulation faults or contact with live parts. With its fast response time and interruption of the current flow, the RCD protects individuals from electric shock and reduces the risk of fires.

Priority Switching
All inverters with RCD feature a priority switching function that automatically switches to external power supply when connected to shore power.
