It also serves as a reliable security device for smart home applications. Access to the building or area is granted via PIN, card, or fingerprint. A total of 1,000 access permissions can be assigned - 988 for individuals who require permanent access, 2 for panic situations (fingerprint or ID card to trigger a panic alarm), and 10 additional for guests. An integrated light-dependent resistor provides extra protection against tampering. Additionally, a locking function for two devices at two doors is available.

For automatic doors, the impulse mode is recommended: activating the code lock opens the door once. In toggle mode, the first activation opens the door, while a second closes it again.

Not only can the remote unlocking of the door be controlled via a mobile app, but it is also possible to log unlocking data, create temporary passwords, and manage all users.

Wiegand input and output can be used as a controller or Wiegand reader. Furthermore, a programmable relay function is available. A touch-sensitive keypad with backlighting and a tri-color LED display ensure easy operation. Additionally, the Sygonix WLAN RFID/Fingerprint code lock supports Amazon Alexa.

The access control system, which can also be installed outdoors, features an anti-vandalism metal housing and is weatherproof according to IP66 standards.
