Wavin Tigris Alupex is a universal system for PEX-c / Al / PE multilayer metal polymer pipes and compression fittings for plumbing, central heating and underfloor heating installations. The system is installed with a manual or electric crimping tool. The plastic compression fitting is made of polyphenylsulfone (PPSU), which has excellent physical properties and is distinguished from other plastics by its extremely high impact resistance, edge strength and resistance to temperature fluctuations. The strength of PPSU can be compared to metal, unlike metal, PPSU is completely free of corrosion, which is especially important in heating installations.
