The mentioned power ratings are valid for a deflection angle of 5° at standard joints. Therefore, it is advisable to choose a larger PTO shaft than required, but never a smaller one.

How do I find the right PTO shaft? These factors should be considered when selecting to ensure it meets the requirements of your specific application:

– Speed in revolutions per minute – should match the speed of the implement (usually 540 RPM and 1000 RPM). Note: Power is dependent on speed.
