Expansion for X-Men United. Getting mutants to work together towards a common goal has never been an easy task, as Professor X can attest. The X-Men know that they can only prevail if they unite to defeat the most dangerous criminals. However, the various hero teams are in constant competition and conflict with one another: these frictions often lead directly to violence and ultimately play into the hands of the criminals. This expansion adds a team of four new and celebrated heroes, a sinister villain, new locations, and the revolutionary team-versus-team mode to the game. All of these elements can be used individually or together with the other heroes, villains, locations, and challenges from the base game and other expansions to create countless different gaming experiences. In the "Team versus Team" mode, players split into two hero teams. Both teams must battle the villain and compete against each other to determine who can inflict the most damage on him when he is defeated.
