The delivery includes a 2-piece cover plate that allows this beautiful billiard table to be transformed into a dining or work table. This new model from the Dolce Vita series features an oak wood look. The cover plates have a stabilizing frame on the underside, which securely locks them onto the playing field. With the cover plate, this table feels just like a regular coffee table. There is ample legroom to comfortably seat 8-10 people at this table. The surfaces of the cover plates and the playing field rails are coated with melamine. Melamine is durable, scratch-resistant, and very robust. The Dolce Vita is a fully functional family table with an elegant furniture finish. To play billiards after a dinner, for example, with friends or family, simply remove the two plates from the playing field and slide them into the rails under the playing field. This way, the cover plates are neatly stored and do not take up space. The table weighs between 132 – 150 kg, making it easy to move if you want to play billiards on the terrace, for instance. The legs are equipped with adjustable feet to compensate for any unevenness in the floor. The feet can be recessed into the legs, making them almost invisible. The Bison playing field consists of an 18 mm thick playing surface made of P2-EPA precision composite material with PVC lamination on both sides. The PVC lamination provides optimal protection for the playing field against external influences. The surface beneath the cloth is finely sanded for optimal ball roll. Bison playing fields are 100% level and guarantee top-notch playing characteristics. This is also ensured by the single-piece construction of the playing field. Bison only uses single-piece playing fields, as multi-piece playing fields are more likely to warp and create misalignments.
