The self-propelled howitzer 2000 (PzH 2000), developed by a German consortium and manufactured by KNDS Deutschland GmbH and Rheinmetall AG, is the current standard artillery piece of the German Bundeswehr. It replaced the American M109 howitzer starting in 1998. The main armament of the PzH 2000 is a 155 mm L/52 howitzer with 60 rounds. Various machine guns serve as secondary armament, and a smoke grenade launcher is used for self-defense. The PzH 2000 is more than twice as heavy as its predecessor, but this is more than compensated for by numerous advantages, such as better effective range and accuracy, higher rate of fire, stronger armor, as well as greater range and speed. However, during prolonged use in Ukraine, certain shortcomings became apparent, including high powder residues in the barrels and overheating of the electronics. The expected lifespan of the massive gun barrels was exceeded by more than four times, with a total of 20,000 rounds. This model consists of 1,006 parts, printed blocks, movable elements, and a precise assembly instruction. Model dimensions (LxWxH): 34.5 x 11 x 11 cm.
