Altered is a collectible card game for two players, where each player brings a deck led by a hero card.

In Altered, you lead two expeditions that explore the land around your home peninsula of Asgartha. One of your expeditions is led by your hero, represented by the hero's expedition marker. The other is led by their companion, represented by the companion's expedition marker. These expeditions move towards each other throughout the game, and your goal is to be the first to bring them both together.

The Starter Deck Mix Display for Altered: Beyond the Gates contains 6 starter decks, one for each of the 6 factions. Each starter deck includes a ready-to-play deck of 39 cards and a hero. Additionally, you'll find everything you need to play: markers, adventure cards, and much more.
