Geometry 3

One primary focus is on promoting visual perception and initial exercises in freehand drawing. A second focus is spatial geometry: properties of solids, cube nets and edge models, initial drawing of cubes on grid paper, cube constructions, building plans, and preliminary exercises on volume or filling with unit cubes. Another topic is the area of views and orientation on plans. An important focus of Geometry Workbook 3 is also the area of surfaces: properties are described, a tiling game is created, surfaces are drawn with a ruler or template on grid paper, surfaces are explored on a geoboard, and initial experiences with area are made. The final content focus is on (axis) symmetry.
