Insert - For Village and Expansions: Village Inn, Village Port
The insert is compatible with Village and the expansions Village Inn and Village Port. The design offers both efficient storage and an enhanced gaming experience. Many of the compartments can be used during the game, significantly simplifying setup and cleanup. The rules and game boards serve as lids for the compartments. There is also space between the compartments at the bottom for the black and green bags that come with the game. In the upper right corner, the player boards act as a lid for the compartment beneath. This is also where the smaller building surfaces (the brewery and cemetery fields) that come with the expansions are stored. When the farms and other building surfaces are removed, you can see the last two game token trays in the upper right corner. On the right side, next to the two card compartments, you will also find the ship tiles resting in their designated space. Each player color is stored in a separate compartment, which has room for all five player pieces. When setting up the game, players simply take their colored card compartment and use it in the game to store their pieces next to their farm. Each of the two compartments for the goods tokens is long and narrow, allowing them to be placed next to the crafting section on the board during play. Additionally, there are trays for the remaining game tokens. All of these are designed to be easily accessible for all players around the board during the game. One of the card compartments is for standard-sized game cards, all of which can be protected with quality sleeves. The other compartment is for the setup tiles.
