Product details

Imperial observers have compared the fire incinerator of a Hellblaster squad to that of a solar flare. Repeated plasma rays scour the battlefield; anyone in the sights of the Hellblasters is promptly wiped out, their armor reduced to ashes and their bodies left in shiny snarls. Even armored vehicles soon boil down to piles of metal slag. Deployed in the right place at the right time, a Hellblaster unit can stem the onslaught of an armored spearhead or defeat the most titanic of alien monsters.

This plastic kit contains the components needed to assemble a set of 10 Hellblasters Primaris. In Mk X Tacticus energy armor, they disdain the complexity of the equipment variants used by their battle brothers and prefer to stick to a single armament, their specialty: plasma. The figurines can be mounted in a squad of 10, including 9 Hellblasters and a Sergeant, or in 2 separate squads of 5, each with its Sergeant.

The entire squad can be equipped with a plasma arsenal—10 plasma incinerators are provided, as well as parts to make them assault plasma incinerators or heavy plasma incinerators, depending on your preference. Assault or heavy variants can be recognized by their mouths, their feeding tubes, and the wiring that connects them to the backpack of the Hellblasters. Four incinerators are in the transport position instead of being supported, and you have the option to arm four Hellblasters with a plasma gun in the other hand.

The challenge (which some would call a bonus) of plasma weapons is their tendency to overheat, which is reflected in several optional components. The Sergeant has head variants with burn marks, and the proposed bionic arms evoke limbs lost in plasma effusions. There is also a wide range of pistol cases, reliquaries, grenades, and purity seals. The Primaris Hellblasters are supplied in 250 components, plus 10 32mm Citadel round bases and a decal sheet.
