In Hive, two groups of insects battle against each other to suppress the reign of the monkeys. The pieces are skewered during the game, the pawns are catapulted from one side to the other, and the smaller insects are flung to the edges, while the large scarabs devour the other insignias. Hive belongs to the category of strategic games that stand out for their mechanics and simplicity of control. Nevertheless, the distinct structure of the pieces and the graphics contribute to bringing the game to life, and at certain moments, one even gets the impression of controlling an exercise with invertebrates. In Hive, each player controls pieces shaped like invertebrates, representing five different types. There is neither a board nor a shovel; instead, the same animals create the playground where they surprise each other.
