Schafkopf is played in Bavaria with the Bavarian deck, a variant of the German deck. The MUH, the magazine for Bavarian aspects, now adds another variant to this canon: the Boris deck. Boris Tomschiczek, who has always enriched the MUH with his cartoons and drawings and for the past three years with his iridescent hidden pictures of the Bavarian subconscious, has exclusively created a reinterpretation of the traditional Bavarian playing cards for the MUH, allowing his own characters to take center stage. Instead of traditional kings, here we have waitresses in charge, the Ace/Pig category offers insights into the Bavarian animal world, and the royal class is represented solely by the one true King Ludwig II.
