The adventure begins - Expansion for Port Royal

Raise the anchor and set sail: Port Royal now takes players on an adventure journey in Port Royal: The Adventure Begins! The successful card game by acclaimed author Alexander Pfister receives a campaign mode. At the start of the game, the prologue of the scenario to be played is read aloud. Before each turn, which follows the familiar rules of Port Royal, players also reveal cards from an event deck. These cards require the collection of specific crew members, trading with certain ships, or they provide a bonus for the turn. However, collection tasks have a time limit. When time runs out, new cards are added to the event deck. Which cards are added depends on whether the players have completed the task or not. The end of a scenario also depends on the completed tasks. Therefore, it is worthwhile to replay the campaign multiple times to experience all the cards.

The Adventure Begins is the second expansion to the successful game and adds a new, exciting game mode that can be played both competitively and cooperatively. This makes Port Royal more atmospheric and thrilling than ever before.
