Detective is a modern crime game. As agents, players navigate a labyrinth of old mysteries and fresh crimes, constantly having to decide which clues to pursue, as time is running out. Here, players take on the roles of real investigators in a contemporary setting. As team members of the Antares National Investigation Agency, they must solve mysterious crimes. Detective immerses players deeply in a rich narrative. One can only hope they manage to foresee the ending before another crime occurs. The game challenges them with five different cases. While these may initially seem unrelated, they gradually reveal an immersive meta-plot that is based on both facts and fiction. As agents, players delve into an urban maze of old mysteries and new crimes, repeatedly deciding which clues to follow and which to ignore, as time is limited. Never before has a game broken the fourth wall in the same way as Detective. Players must utilize all available resources: they can explore the game's extensive database, which simulates their agency's resources, research online, and consult any other tools the real world offers. In doing so, they continuously uncover new clues that bring them closer to solving the cases.
