Nidavellir, the realm of dwarves, is threatened by the dragon Fafnir. As esteemed Elvalande, the players have been chosen by the king to create the most powerful force to defeat the dragon. To do this, players traverse every tavern in the kingdom to hire the most skilled dwarves and recruit the most renowned heroes. In each round, players bid one coin for each tavern in Nidavellir. They then select a card from the tavern in descending order. If it is a dwarf card, they add it to their army. Each dwarf class has its own scoring method: blacksmith, hunter, warrior, explorer, and miner. Through clever recruitment, players can also gain a powerful hero for their army. Additionally, players can increase the value of their gold coins thanks to the clever coin-building system and extract it from the other Elvalande, for example, by taking a subsidy card or bidding with their 0 coin.
