A portrait of the artist Tina Stamelou. Tina Stamelou was born in Greece but grew up in the United Kingdom, where she studied art and textiles and worked as a designer for the renowned Swiss textile company Christian Fischbacher, among others. More than 30 years ago, she moved to the headquarters in St. Gallen and, along with her adult children, still makes Switzerland her home today. Tina's passion is now entirely devoted to illustration. In her new works, she focuses on the beauty of nature, combining delicate plants, flowers, leaves, and buds with birds, insects, and delicious ingredients from Mediterranean cuisine. A goldfinch perched on a lemon is just one of the many images that inspire Tina's creativity, and each of her works conveys feelings of joy and vitality.
