The EC135 is one of the most modern light helicopters. The interior accommodates a complete rescue equipment setup. The enclosed tail rotor (Fenestron) reduces noise levels and the risk of accidents. For this reason, the Dutch ANWB Medical Air Assistance frequently employs the EC135 as a rescue helicopter.
