As medieval merchants, players establish trading posts along the far-reaching routes (Danish: Vejen, pronounced "Vaien") of Northern Germany and Southern Denmark, inspired by one of the main trade routes of the time, the "Ox Road" (Danish: "Haervejen"). Many options provide variety: When are the exchange rates of the Danish Krone and the German Thaler favorable for purchasing goods? Is it worth building a mill or a ship? When should I invest in a larger and better ox cart? When is the best time to take out a loan? And above all: Where should I drive my cart to sell my goods at a good price?

My chances of winning depend on the money earned – but also on the fellow players who also want to accumulate as much money as possible in this exciting trading game.
