Size: 7 ft. Stradivari natural slate panels for billiard tables come from Italy. These are diamond-ground within minimal tolerances, eliminating any height discrepancies. Embedded in the panels are 3-point metal connectors, allowing the panels to be easily, precisely, and seamlessly pushed together. The 25 mm thick slate panels guarantee excellent playing and rolling characteristics. Italian Stradivari slate playing fields are extremely stable and hard, forming the centerpiece of any table. In contrast, cheaper slate from overseas can warp, potentially damaging the table and detracting from the playing experience. Therefore, we place the greatest importance on this part of the table. An MDF frame is mounted under the slate panels, to which the billiard cloth can be stapled. The panels shown here are without the MDF frame (otherwise identical).
