A handcrafted willow basket with vegetables made from Tender Leaf wooden toys is sustainably produced from rubberwood. Once the rubber trees no longer produce latex, they are cut down and replanted. In the past, the wood was burned, leading to significant CO2 emissions; those times are over in Asia. Today, toys and a variety of items are made from this wood. Tender Leaf wooden toys are produced according to the strict regulations of the European Union and the USA. Water-based paints are used, and the edges and corners are smoothly sanded.
