How can we keep track of everything happening on the spaceship Earth? Is there a way to share this information with all passengers, despite their many different languages and cultural backgrounds? How can we share information about the spaceship and the path it takes through the universe with human and artificial intelligence? The Ultimate Atlas is an attempt to answer these very questions. The starting point is a blank page. It represents the sum of a value, such as the Earth's surface. This total value can be divided into partial values, such as countries, whose areas are represented by white spaces between black vertical lines. This results in a kind of barcode map, showing less dense lines on the left side and denser lines on the right side of the page. Each page of the Ultimate Atlas is a graphic.
