How to apply a latex prosthetic:

Step 1: Apply makeup to your latex pieces before attaching them to save time during the makeup process. Use water-based face paint or cream makeup. For a more permanent effect, diluted acrylic paint can also be used.

Step 2: Fit the latex pieces onto your face and check the fit. Trim any excess areas with nail scissors.

Step 3: Apply the adhesive thinly to the contact points of the latex pieces on your face or directly onto the pieces. For a stronger hold, roll the adhesive with a cotton swab.

Step 4: Press the latex pieces firmly against your face. Reapply adhesive where necessary. A little liquid latex can help blend the edges of the prosthetics.

Step 5: Now fully apply makeup to your face and set the cream makeup with powder and the water-based paint with a bit of hairspray.

Removing the latex prosthetic: Use cotton pads and swabs soaked in cleaning alcohol or adhesive remover to detach the latex pieces. Completely remove the makeup from the pieces and store them dry. This way, they will last you a long time.
