Scar gel for the treatment of raised scars
Kelo-Cote Scar Gel is a patented, self-drying silicone gel for the prevention and treatment of raised scars, such as hypertrophic scars and keloids. Kelo-Cote has been shown to make scars flatter, softer, and smoother. It alleviates discomfort associated with scars and reduces itching and skin discoloration.
Kelo-Cote Scar Gel is effective for:
- Fresh scars
- Surgical scars
- Cesarean sections
- Aesthetic surgery
- Burn scars
Kelo-Cote Gel is an extremely user-friendly silicone gel for the prevention and treatment of hypertrophic scars and keloids. Kelo-Cote has been proven to reduce and flatten scars, relieve itching, and diminish redness. Kelo-Cote Gel is particularly distinguished by its proven efficacy in numerous studies and its patented crosslink technology. This technology creates an optimal, interconnected occlusive film that hydrates the scar tissue. It inhibits fibroblast proliferation and reduces collagen synthesis. Kelo-Cote Gel is suitable for treating both fresh and older scars, following general surgical procedures, injuries, wounds, and burns. The product can be easily applied to joints, in the knee or elbow creases, on hairy body areas, and even on large scars. Kelo-Cote Gel contains chemically inert, highly compatible silicone and is also suitable for treating children or individuals with sensitive skin. Kelo-Cote Gel can be used in conjunction with pressure dressings or other scar therapies.
