Kinesiology tape is a self-adhesive, stretchable textile tape. It is used to treat or prevent a wide range of physical complaints.

The tape is designed to lift the skin and thus reduce pressure on the underlying pain receptors and promote blood circulation and lymphatic drainage. This is intended to support healing processes and relieve the damaged area. Even though the effect of kinesiological tape has not yet been scientifically confirmed, many athletes, physiotherapists and private users report positive experiences.

This sports tape is pre-cut for use on knee complaints. The so-called precuts can be used preventively, e.g. to stabilise the kneecap in order to avoid patellar tendon irritation. The tape can help to relieve acute knee pain.

The pre-cut strips are made of stretchy but tear-resistant polyvinyl. The elastic material is permeable to air and moisture. The tape is also sweat-resistant and water-resistant and can therefore be worn without any problems when showering, swimming or doing sports.

The tape is coated with a hypoallergenic, latex-free adhesive and stays on the skin for up to seven days. Note: The tape should not be used if you have a known allergy to polyacrylate adhesive (plaster allergy).
