Application instructions: Inserting sclera contact lenses requires a bit more skill and experience than smaller lenses. If you have no experience with inserting contact lenses, we recommend visiting your optician or ophthalmologist for advice and assistance during your first insertion. Generally, use your index finger, middle finger, and thumb to hold the sclera lenses, as their size makes it difficult to keep them on your fingertips otherwise. Ensure that the lenses are well moistened with contact lens solution. First, gently slide the lens under your upper eyelid. Then, pull down your lower eyelid and lightly press the bottom edge of the lens. If insertion doesn’t work right away, just stay calm and practice a bit – with a little experience, inserting sclera lenses will become easier!
