Exufiber Ag+ is a gel-forming fiber dressing with rapid antimicrobial action for heavily exuding wounds.

Exufiber Ag+ with Hydrolock technology is a sterile gel-forming fiber dressing that provides long-lasting protection against a wide range of gram-negative and gram-positive bacteria, including resistant bacteria such as methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) and vancomycin-resistant enterococci (VRE), as well as fungi and viruses. Exufiber Ag+ has been shown to kill 99 percent of fungi, bacteria, and viruses within 24 hours (in vitro) and may contribute to reduced odor formation. Upon contact with wound exudate, it forms a gel that maintains a moist wound healing environment. The fiber dressing has high wet tear strength, allowing it to be easily removed in one piece during dressing changes. Its high absorption and retention capacity reduces the risk of leakage and maceration. Exufiber Ag+ can be used on moderately to heavily exuding wounds and can also be used in combination with Mepilex Border Flex with Safetac.

Indications for Exufiber Ag+:
Exufiber Ag+ is suitable for moderately to heavily exuding wounds. The dressing can be used for leg and foot ulcers, including diabetic foot ulcers and venous leg ulcers. Exufiber Ag+ can be used under compression.
