MucoClear 6%

Contents:
4 ml hypertonic sodium chloride inhalation solution (NaCl 6%) - sterile

Indications:
Enhancement of mucus mobilization in the airways in cases of mucus consolidation (cystic fibrosis, bronchiolitis, acute viral bronchitis) due to osmotic effect.

Method of application:
Inhalation, e.g., with PARI jet nebulizer, VELOX, or eFlow rapid. Please follow the instructions for use of the nebulizer being used.

Dosage:
Depending on need, 1 ampoule (4 ml) 2 to 4 times daily.

Side effects:
In rare cases, temporary irritations (e.g., coughing) or reversible bronchial constriction may occur. A pre-treatment with a bronchodilator is often recommended by a doctor. If you experience unwanted effects, discontinue therapy and consult your doctor or pharmacist.

Warnings:
MucoClear 6% should not be used without medical advice in cases of tendency to shortness of breath or hypersensitivity. Only mix MucoClear 6% with medications after consulting your doctor. It cannot be ruled out that mixing MucoClear 6% with medications may lead to chemical interactions that could affect the efficacy of the therapy. MucoClear 6% contains no preservatives. For hygiene reasons, opened ampoules must be disposed of immediately. Dispose of after the expiration date! This product contains small parts that can be swallowed and pose a choking hazard. Keep out of reach of children under three years old!
