The back brace covers the lower thoracic (Th 10 to Th 12) and lumbar (L 1 to L 5) vertebrae and closes over the abdominal area with a one-piece front Velcro closure. The bandage has proven effective, especially in general medical use, where no additional stabilization by special support elements (pads, support rods) is required, such as in cases of lumbago. It is also suitable for top-class and recreational sports, as well as in situations where muscle overload may occur due to unaccustomed or heavy work, or in activities where hypothermia of the lumbar region may happen.
