These masks do not constitute a medical device as defined by European Directive 93/42/EEC nor personal protective equipment as defined by Regulation (EU) 2016/425. The mouth and nose mask should be worn in such a way that it completely covers the mouth and nose. Proper handwashing with soap or a suitable disinfectant is essential before and after removing the mask.
The mask should be changed approximately every 2 hours or as soon as it becomes damp, and should be washed immediately in hot water or sealed airtight in a bag. Children under 3 years old should not wear a mask due to the risk of choking.
Washable at 60-95 degrees.
