The American label Carhartt has existed since 1889. The founder, Hamilton Carhartt, focused his work on the railway workers and created a brand especially for working with the railway. Throughout the years Hamilton pursued a very clear goal and, travelling from city to city, managed to establish his company all over America. In the meantime these borders have been blown wide open, as the label is now available worldwide. Carhartt is a family business that has transported itself to the top of the fashion world.
