The 7.5cm plastic figures with moveable hands, arms, legs and heads are at the heart of every Playmobil construction set. Giving the figures accessories (such as tools) encourages children to get involved in valuable role play. Children, parents and pedagogues alike appreciate the fascinating historical and modern theme worlds. Since their market launch in 1974, an incredible 2.7 billion figures have been produced. In 2014, the company celebrated its 40th anniversary.
