Snurk

Even on a small scale, you can do good and SNURK is doing its part. It all started in 2007 with the cardboard look bedding called Le Clochard (the bum). To help homeless people, the founders Peggy and Erik decided to produce 1000 bed sets from the money they had saved and donate 40% of the sales proceeds to the foundation "Street Children Holland".

Quickly the bedding was sold to 10 different countries. Magazines, newspapers and webblogs wrote about the Le Clochard bedding. And not only in the Netherlands, but even in the New York Times. Every day people asked when there would be more designs. 1½ years later, the SNURK brand was born and the collection was expanded. Since then, SNURK, with its distinctive, smart designs, has been produced in Portugal: Environmentally friendly, under the fairest conditions and in first-class quality.

Currently, a street children project is running with which foundations in Germany, England and Denmark are supported. With this money, street children are given the opportunity for an education, for example. Snurk - more than just bedding!
