Umbra
The Toronto-based design firm, whose name derives from the Latin word for shadow, was born 35 years ago when schoolmates Paul Rowan and Les Mandelbaum transformed a decorative dilemma into an innovative product. Today Umbra's product portfolio includes furniture, coat hooks, photo and wall displays, wardrobe organisation, curtain rails, bathroom accessories, kitchen utensils, jewellery organisers and wastebaskets.
