As the top Swiss e-commerce platform, with a crew of over 4’000 across Switzerland, Germany, and Serbia, Galaxus is poised to move into new markets. Our driving force is our determination to keep challenging the status quo. That’s why we’re on the lookout for characters who’re passionate about making genuine improvements. We’ll give you the freedom and trust to make an impact, to grow with us and to be yourself. Act galactic. Be you.

As Workforce Planner, you shape how our new site in Neuenburg am Rhein runs: forecasts in, operations plan out, staffing needs and shift planning included. Working closely with production and logistics, you develop the KPIs behind our decisions and keep improving the tools you use to get there. There's also room to grow: over the next few years, you will take on the lead of our future planning team.

Your responsibilities

  • Forecasts in, operations plan out: you build the plan for our new site in Neuenburg am Rhein and derive the staffing needs from it.
  • Shift and daily planning is yours: planned downtimes and staff availability always factored in.
  • Planning methods and tools don't stay as they are. You keep developing them so our processes run leaner.
  • Together with us, you develop and analyze KPIs, because decisions here are based on data, not gut feeling.
  • Across teams, you coordinate and support our production and logistics processes, working hand in hand with the people on the ground.

Your skills

  • A completed degree in business administration is your foundation
  • At least 5 years of experience in logistics, supply chain management or a comparable field is a must have.
  • Good communication skills in English (Level B2). If you're not at that level yet, we support you achieving the needed competencies with language classes. German at B1 level is also required.
  • Work preparation, planning or supply chain management are no strangers to you.
  • Numbers are your thing: with strong analytical skills and Excel at your fingertips, you turn data into sound analyses and efficient forecasting models.
  • The capacity to adapt to ongoing changes in the work environment
  • A willingness to challenge «how things have always been done» and propose more efficient, automated or effective solutions

Why start with us?

  • Values, not empty words: Cooperative, innovative, piratesque, responsible, ambitious – these five values are what we practice and preach.
  • Courageous thinking: We encourage everyone to think on their feet, and love it when they come up with bold or edgy ideas.
  • Uncomplicated approach: Simplicity is at our core. We avoid the unnecessary and focus on what really matters – from overcoming challenges to celebrating our shared successes.
  • Flexibility and freedom: We offer working-from-home options, up to 8 weeks of workation, and every position is possible with an 80% workload.
  • Rapid growth: With us, growth is a continuous journey. We also support you with EDU Points (1600 € or 2000 minutes) per year for your professional development so there’s no risk of you getting stuck in a rut.
  • More benefits: 28 days of holiday, exclusive employee conditions in our online shop, a shuttle service and other benefits.

Diversity is our culture.

To build the best team, we want to draw from the full spectrum of talent out there. This means people from all walks of life have the same opportunities with us, regardless of their ethnicity, religion, disability status, gender identity, sexual orientation or age.
