A children's book classic as a Tonie: "The Rainbow Fish" is coming
Tonies presents a new audio figure for World Book Day: "The Rainbow Fish" is coming to the Toniebox.
This news is sure to make some parents' hearts beat faster: The Rainbow Fish, a children's book classic from 1992, is coming as an audio figure for the Toniebox. This was announced by the audio box manufacturer in a press release. The rainbow fish Tonie will be available from 11 April.
The occasion for the new release is World Book Day on 23 April 2024, but there is a second reason: "The Rainbow Fish" is 30 years old. Marcus Pfister's story has sold around 50 million copies to date and has been translated into 50 languages.
The story of the rainbow fish
And this is what the story is about: The little rainbow fish has glittering scales. What he doesn't have: Friends. When other fish ask him if they can have one of his glittering scales, he refuses with a pique. Only when he changes his mind does he make friends with sea creatures. A beautiful story about friendship, sharing and courage. And the best thing is that the shimmering look of the book continues on the Tonie.
If you want to sweeten the wait until the Rainbow Fish Tonie is released: Some children's book classics are already available as Tonies:
