iPhone 14 Pro hands-on test: an upgrade, but not a revolution

Translation: Eva Francis

Today, the new iPhones hit the shelves. I’ve used the iPhone 14 Pro all day and have put the following three features to the test: camera, always-on display and Dynamic Island.

New iPhones are launched every year. I’ve tested the new top model, iPhone 14 Pro. On the outside, this phone looks just like its predecessor – but a few things have changed on the inside. I’ve tested three of them.

  1. The camera, which is supposed to have improved, especially in lower light.

  2. The always-on display, which I’m ambivalent about.

  3. The new cutout for the front camera and Face ID sensors, which Apple has named «Dynamic Island».

My fingerprint often changes so drastically that my MacBook doesn't recognise it anymore. The reason? If I'm not clinging to a monitor or camera, I'm probably clinging to a rockface by the tips of my fingers.
