In this article, I will introduce you to six new gaming PCs from the brand. They range from the entry level with Ryzen 5 and RTX 5060 to the most powerful configuration with Core i9 and RTX 5080.

A gaming PC is rarely just a question of the graphics card. You need a balanced system that sensibly combines processor, RAM, mainboard, power supply, cooling and memory. This is exactly where PCSpecialist comes in. The brand is a relatively new addition to our range and offers pre-configured desktop PCs with well-known hardware.

The entry-level model: V3 with Ryzen 5 and RTX 5060

The PCSpecialist V3 is the smallest model in this range. It combines an AMD Ryzen 5 7500F with a GeForce RTX 5060 with eight gigabytes of graphics memory. It also comes with 16 gigabytes of DDR5 6000 RAM, installed as a single module, and a one-terabyte Gen 4 M.2 NVMe SSD.

The system uses an ASUS Prime A620M-K mainboard. Wi-Fi is realised via an Intel Wi-Fi 6E-AX210 module with Bluetooth 5.2, supplemented by Realtek Gigabit LAN and a Corsair CX power supply with 650 watts. The CPU is cooled with a PCS FrostFlow 100 ARGB V3.

The mid-range: V6 and V7 with RTX 5070

One step higher are two models with GeForce RTX 5070. Both systems come with 32 gigabytes of DDR5 6000 RAM, a one-terabyte Gen 4 MVMe NVMe SSD and an RTX 5070 with twelve gigabytes of graphics memory.

The V6 is the Intel variant. It is based on a Core i7-14700F with 20 cores and 28 threads. This makes it interesting if you use productive applications that can utilise many threads in addition to games. The mainboard is an ASUS Prime B760-Plus. Cooling is provided by an LS-240 AIO water cooling system. The power supply is a modular Corsair RMe with 750 watts and 80 Plus Gold certification.

The V7 is the AMD alternative. It uses a Ryzen 7 7800X3D with eight cores and 16 threads. It sits on an ASUS Prime B650 Plus mainboard. A 240-millimetre AIO water cooling system is also used here.

The choice between V6 and V7 is therefore primarily a question of platform. Intel offers more cores and threads. AMD relies on the X3D processor. These CPUs are currently considered to be particularly strong for gaming because the additional 3D V-Cache can provide advantages in many games.

Radeon instead of GeForce: V8 and V9 with RX 9070 XT

The V8 and V9 models switch from Nvidia to AMD. Both use a Radeon RX 9070 XT with 16 gigabytes of graphics memory. This is the most noticeable difference to the RTX 5070 systems. The larger graphics memory can be relevant depending on the game, resolution and texture quality. However, this is not a general recommendation. The decisive factor remains which games you play and whether you need Nvidia-specific functions.

The PCSpecialist V8 combines the Radeon RX 9070 XT with a Ryzen 7 7800X3D. It also comes with 32 gigabytes of DDR5 6000 RAM, a one-terabyte Gen 4 M.2 NVMe SSD, an ASUS Prime B650 Plus mainboard, Wi-Fi 6E, a 240-millimetre AIO and a Corsair RMx power supply with 850 watts.

The PCSpecialist V9 sets its sights higher. It uses an AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D, also with eight cores and 16 threads. It also has the same graphics card, but a larger, two-terabyte Gen 4 M.2 NVMe SSD. The motherboard is also of a higher quality: an ASUS TUF Gaming B850-Plus Wi-Fi with onboard Wi-Fi 7. The power supply unit and cooling system remain powerful: Corsair RMx with 850 watts and PCSpecialist LS-240 AIO.

The V9 is therefore the more powerful Radeon configuration. It offers more SSD memory, a newer AMD X3D CPU and Wi-Fi 7.

The top model in this selection: V10 with Core i9 and RTX 5080

The PCSpecialist V10 is the most powerful model of the six PCs mentioned. It combines an Intel Core i9-14900KF with a GeForce RTX 5080 with 16 gigabytes of graphics memory. It also comes with 32 gigabytes of DDR5 6000 RAM and a two-terabyte Gen 4 M.2 NVMe SSD.

The processor offers 24 cores and 32 threads. The mainboard is an ASUS Prime Z790-P. PCSpecialist relies on a Corsair RMx power supply with 850 watts and 80 Plus Gold certification. The CPU is cooled with a PCSpecialist LS-240 AIO water cooling system. WLAN runs via Intel Wi-Fi 6E AX210 with Bluetooth 5.2.

A note on categorisation: We currently have twelve PCSpecialist configurations officially listed. This article deals with six of them. The designations V3 to V10 are therefore not to be understood as a complete sequence, but as model names within the broader line-up.

PCSpecialist originates from the UK and was founded in 2003. The company has been active in direct sales for years and builds pre-configured and customised PCs, laptops and workstations. The company has put together its own selection of gaming PCs for Digitec Galaxus. This selection is permanently configured, but is not intended as a definitive line-up. It can develop further. Which configurations you are missing is therefore relevant. Write in the comments if you would like to see other processors, graphics cards, memory capacities or price levels. This feedback can be incorporated into further planning.
