The "Insta 20" is designed for all kids who are still too young to have their own smartphone. The compact camera can print photos immediately.

Selfies, photos of sights or food - adults seem to be taking photos all the time. This naturally encourages children to emulate their role models. The «MyFirst Camera Insta 20» is designed to help children get started with photography. It is available in the colours blue and pink:

The camera from MyFirst weighs just under 175 grams and, with its dimensions of 10.4 × 7.5 × 4.4 centimetres, should fit well in small hands. A lanyard is included in the packaging for transport. The manufacturer points out that the camera is made from non-toxic materials and is BPA-free. The housing should also be able to withstand the odd drop.

Recording quality and technical features

The camera offers resolutions from five to 26 megapixels and can record videos in full HD at 30 frames per second. The equipment includes a 3-inch IPS colour screen. In addition, the camera has a small OLED screen that provides interactive functions for organising photos.

Frames and filters are already integrated for creative design, allowing kids to edit and customise the photos directly. An additional app is not required.

The photos are stored on a microSD card with a capacity of up to 32 gigabytes. You must order this storage medium separately. The integrated 800 mAh battery must be charged within around two hours before first use.

Instant printing without ink

The special feature of the camera is the integrated print function. This uses thermal paper and therefore does not require ink cartridges. Three rolls of paper are included. The printer delivers a resolution of 203 dpi and is said to output an image in just seven seconds. Children can use it to incorporate their snapshots into their own craft projects or start a scrapbook.
