Space-saving wonder: Kind Bags are practical and pretty – and I can’t live without them

Kind Bags are a great ace to have up your sleeve: they’re small enough to literally fit up there and are a total secret weapon. That’s reason enough for me to always have one on hand.
Picture this: you’re on your way home from the office and you suddenly remember there are three or four things on your shopping list. So off to the supermarket you go, where – annoyed – you tear off yet another plastic bag at the checkout, pay for it and stuff it into the cupboard at home with all the other bags you’ll never use again.
Scenario 2: you’re on holiday, out for a stroll. One unexpected find leads to another and before you know it, you’re lugging around a collection of shopping bags you’ll end up throwing away as soon as you get back to your hotel.
Scenario 3: it’s swimming season. You’re at the pool or lake, your swimwear is wet and so is your beach towel. You want to head off – and you know all your stuff is about to become damp, too. Ugh.

When folded, the bag measures just 12 × 13 centimetres and is about 1.5 centimetres thick. Folded up into its interior pocket, the Kind Bag fits into even the smallest handbag, bum bag, travel bag or even a jacket pocket. You can whip it out and unfold it quickly in a pinch. And it’s got enough room for everything: unplanned groceries, spontaneous souvenirs, wet swimwear. The size M model can easily carry up to 20 kg.
Still not convinced? Founded in London in 2019 with manufacturing in China, the B Corp certified company makes its reusable bags from 100% recycled PET in over 50 different prints. Oh, and the bags are waterproof and washable at 30 degrees to boot. They also come in Mini (up to 10 kg) and Large (up to 25 kg).
