Oppo Reno 10 Pro
The Pro model of the Oppo Reno 10 does not differ externally from the regular version. The differences in the hardware are clearer
Design with curved display
The Pro model is available in classic, matt black or shiny metallic purple. The camera module consists of two groups. A circle at the top for the main camera and a half oval at the bottom for the telephoto and ultra-wide-angle camera

The Oppo Reno 10 Pro has a 6.7-inch AMOLED display in the curved version. The resolution is 2412 × 1080 pixels. The smartphone has a screen brightness of up to 950 nits. The Oppo Reno 10 Pro also has a refresh rate of up to 120 hertz. It weighs 185 grams and has IP54 splash and dust protection.
Good hardware and the camera doesn't fall behind either
The Reno 10 Pro has three cameras on the back. A main camera with 50 megapixels, an ultra-wide-angle camera with eight megapixels and a telephoto camera with 32 megapixels. The sensors are not particularly large. That of the main camera is 1/1.56 inch. However, it comes with a 2x optical zoom, image stabilisation and videos with up to 4K/30 fps. The additional front camera has 32 megapixels.

The mid-range Snapdragon 778G processor from Qualcomm is installed. You have 12 gigabytes of RAM and 256 gigabytes of internal memory. The memory cannot be expanded, but there is space for two SIM cards.
The 4600 mAh battery can be charged in just under 30 minutes using the 80-watt power adapter with fast charging function - called SuperVOOC - included in the scope of delivery.
Operating system and software: ColorOS 13 ex works
On board is Google's Android 13 with the ColorOS user interface from Oppo and Oneplus. You can use the phone via Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2, and you'll find all the usual apps from Google and Oppo. Netflix, Spotify, TikTok and Facebook are also pre-installed. Android updates are available for two years and security patches for three years.

The cheaper version differs from the Pro model in a few ways. Here you can find all the striking differences.
Design: confusingly similar
I have already had the opportunity to hold the Oppo Reno 10 and the Pro version in my hands. I didn't notice any major differences between the models at first glance. The matt black version looks almost identical on the regular and Pro models. However, the Oppo Reno 10 also has a rainbow-coloured version - called Ice Blue - instead of the purple-coloured Pro model.

The hardware is not just slimmed down
The MediaTek Dimensity 7050 was used for the processor. Nothing can be said about the performance without testing. You have slightly less RAM available: 8 gigabytes. There is also 256 gigabytes of internal memory. Unlike the Pro model, however, you can expand it with a microSD card.
The battery is slightly larger at 5000 mAh. However, you can "only" charge it with 67 watts of SuperVOOC. The battery is fully charged in around 50 minutes. The Oppo Reno 10 is only protected against splash water with an IPX4 rating.
The main camera is equipped with 64 megapixels, but with a smaller sensor: 1/2 inch. The other cameras remain the same in terms of megapixels and sensor.
Price and availability
At market launch, both smartphones are cheaper than their predecessors. Back then, the Reno 8 was priced at 499 francs and the Pro variant at 749 francs. Now, the Oppo Reno 10 is priced at 449 francs and the Pro is available for 599 francs. Both will be available in the Swiss shop from the end of July. Germany is still excluded from sales due to Nokia's sales ban.
