Vote for the best game of the year!

The year 2023 started with the dark sci-fi horror game Dead Space and ended with the colourful Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora. What’s your personal top game of the year? Vote now!

Baldur’s Gate 3, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom and Alan Wake 2 are just three examples of a sensational year in gaming. 2023 didn’t miss a beat, ensuring we never got bored with a constant flow of great titles. Now it’s time to find out which game has left the biggest mark on the Digitec Community in the past twelve months.

When selecting candidates for Best Game of the Year, I leave out re-releases on other platforms and add-ons, a well as incremental remasters without significant improvements. But I do reserve the right to make exceptions. I’ve tried to include all relevant titles that are likely to collect votes. Is your favourite game not listed? Leave a comment about why it deserves more attention.

With that, let the voting begin! Voting is open until 22 December. The results will follow in the last week of the year.

Being the game and gadget geek that I am, working at digitec and Galaxus makes me feel like a kid in a candy shop – but it does take its toll on my wallet. I enjoy tinkering with my PC in Tim Taylor fashion and talking about games on my podcast http://www.onemorelevel.ch. To satisfy my need for speed, I get on my full suspension mountain bike and set out to find some nice trails. My thirst for culture is quenched by deep conversations over a couple of cold ones at the mostly frustrating games of FC Winterthur.
