The Sentry series from ABB encompasses the full spectrum of safety relays, from basic models for simple safety applications or for multiplying safety outputs to highly flexible universal models with extremely precise timer functions. This series meets all requirements for safety applications. Manual or automatic reset can be easily selected via a switch on the front of the relays. The new multi-reset function allows for the resetting of up to 10 Sentry safety relays with just one reset button. The basic models BSR are suitable, for example, for emergency stop shutdowns or for expanding safety outputs. The single-function models SSR are ideal for applications such as monitoring contacts and OSSD signals or for two-hand control. The safety timers TSR are characterised by their very high accuracy of better than 1%, and the universal models USR for all common safety applications additionally offer display and configuration options.
